We are delighted to announce that Casa California, the newest addition to our Viridian Experience portfolio, is now officially open for guest reservations on Peninsula Papagayo.

Casa California becomes the third Viridian villa in our Costa Rican collection, introducing a fresh expression of contemporary tropical design. Conceived by internationally acclaimed architect Ronald Zurcher, the home features his signature sculptural rooflines that taper and curve to create a chic, organic form.

“The large overarching roofs are not just organic,” Zurcher notes. “They are three-dimensional forms whose curvature tapers to create a chic yet natural feel.”

Guests arrive via an elevated walkway framed by lush canopy, entering a dramatic great room with soaring wooden ceilings and enchanting ocean views. A striking floating staircase leads down to the lower-level family room, while expansive custom pocket doors dissolve the boundary between indoor and outdoor living.

With six bedrooms and seven and half baths, Casa California comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests. The private sauna with cold plunge and the infinity/zero-edge pool create an intimate jungle oasis overlooking the Pacific.
